Clan Wars: Startup Tips

How To Design Base:

You should if not already, reposition your base into full defensive mode. This means that your base has to be positioned in a way that victory stars are not easily given to the enemy. One of the first things you should check, is your Town Hall. It should be enclosed at the center of your base supported by the walls. It should not be outside because this will allow the enemy to easily get a victory star and win, which will make us a step closer to losing. So you need to reposition your base into full defensive mode.

How To Attack:

The Clan Wars is no longer about trophies so don’t attack like before. This time you have to attack aiming for a 3 star victory. Don’t worry about the loot that you will get from the enemy because there is a winning bonus which is relatively high. To get a 3 star victory, you need to attack with stronger units such as giants and hog riders. The giants and hogs will allow you to take out the defences which let the rest of your army to take out the rest of the enemy base. Also make sure you take wall breaker so that your army does not get killed trying to break through the walls. You will not need goblins, because as said before, you’re not attacking for loot; you’re attacking for victory stars. One of the things I recognised in the previous war, that some people just attacked the enemy’s Town Hall which was outside and quit. This only gave them 1 victory star, which even though they still won, they only got 1 victory star and wasted 1 of their attacks out of the 2 possible attacks. So, attack with strategy now, to get the 3 victory stars.

What To Donate:

During the Clan War, donate only good units to each other so that your clanmates have a much higher chance of defending their base. So the best things to donate would be defensive units like healers and wizards. The units you shouldn't donate are units such as giants, goblins and balloons. If we work as a clan, then we will win as a clan!
